Seat Naming Benefits
Seat naming is a unique and meaningful way to honor a loved one, give a unique gift or commemorate a special occasion all while supporting the Appalachian Theatre. Be it serious, poetic, sentimental, or clever, your name or message will be elegantly engraved on a brass plate affixed to the armrest of your selected theatre seat for the life of the seat.

How to Name Your Seat
By Phone: Call 828.865.3000 with exact information that you would like engraved on the plaque(s) and complete credit card information.
By Mail or Email: Please download, print and complete the Seat Donation Form and send it, along with your credit card information or check to: Appalachian Theatre Seat Campaign, PO Box 11 DTS, Boone, NC 28607. Please make checks payable to Appalachian Theatre. You may also submit your form by email to: office@apptheatre.org.

Yes! It is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Because tickets to all performances are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit in your named seat. However, if your seat is available, we will do our best to accommodate your seating request.

A member of the Appalachian Theatre staff will contact you to assist in helping you choose your seat(s). We will send a proof of the nameplate for your final approval before engraving.

Your donation supports the operational and programmatic expenses of the ATHC.

When that time comes, we will use the contact information on file to provide you with the opportunity to renew your seat and messaging.
