Volunteering at the
Appalachian Theatre

Since the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country (ATHC) was formed in 2012, we have relied heavily on the generosity of volunteers who give freely of their time and in-kind donations to help us do the work that has gotten us where we are now--on the brink of finishing the interior of this amazing theater.

While we are under construction we will not have the standard front-of-house volunteer opportunities of ushering, ticket taking, concessions etc., but we still have many ways that you can help us get ready to open the theater. We have broken these opportunities into four categories: Special Events, Marketing, Office, and Theater Building Maintenance. To learn more about the specific volunteer opportunities, feel free to check out this summary sheet located RIGHT HERE.

To volunteer, you can:

1) fill out THIS VOLUNTEER APPLICATION and send it to us at, OR

2) fill out the convenient form below, and we'll get your info to Claudia Mohler, our Volunteer Coordinator.

If you have general questions about our volunteer opportunities but aren't yet ready to fill out a form, please contact us at

And in the meantime, thank you so much for your help. We couldn't do this without you.
